You will continue building out Tread's People and Culture practice by having the opportunity to work on programs like employee engagement, performance management, learning and development, office & logistics management, metrics & analytics, and policy creation/maintenance.

In this role, you will own the People Operations function while collaborating with Executive Leadership and external partners.

You will have the opportunity to develop your HR expertise, refine your operational skill set, while working on people programs that are foundational to the employee experience.


You will be working on people operations & HR projects that are challenging and impactful to the needs of the entire organization.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to all employees on daytoday HR activities and provide routine guidance
  • Make recommendations to policy and procedure; navigate internal tools and maintain accurate HR records required for SOC2 certification
  • Be the goto office experience contact (maintaining and ordering office supplies, liaise with the office space contacts as needed, coordinate inoffice days.)
  • Collaborate with the team to organize quarterly inperson events including being the onsite point of contact, booking flights, hotel accommodations etc.
  • Administration and system support required for the onboarding and offboarding of remote employees located across multiple countries, provinces, states and territories (including benefits setup, payroll, HR tech stack, etc.)
  • Prepare Employment Offers and Contracts by inputting data into existing region specific templates
  • Analyze engagement survey data and feedback for discussion and program planning, coordinate annual performance reviews and collaborate with Department heads to identify learning and development opportunities

Role Requirements:

  • 3+ yrs experience working as a HR Coordinator or Generalist role in the Technology or Start-Up sector
  • You thrive when working with data, reporting & analytics
  • You're a textbook of information when it comes to knowing HR law and regulations, it would be a plus if you have experience with employment in multiple provinces and states
  • You are a creative thinker who can find new ways to improve processes
  • Experience working in a rapidly scaling company where you're able to manage several projects
  • You describe yourself as organized and detail oriented
  • Experience with HR tools such as Lattice, Rippling, Lever would be an asset
