Reporting to the Director of Human Resources and Administration, the person in this position acts as an advisor and works closely with the managers of the different business sectors.

The Human Resources Advisor is responsible for the development and implementation of the organizational development plan, the management of continuous training for managers and employees and collaborates in the recruitment process for the positions assigned to them.


MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborates with the Human Resources team on the entire staffing process.
  • Advises managers on various topics related to recruitment, training and skills development.
  • Coordinates initiation and integration plans and follows up on probationary periods.
  • Informs, educates, explains and advises employees on various HRrelated topics (Employee Services).
  • Participates in the development and implementation of employer branding initiatives aimed at attracting relevant profiles.
  • Represents BIXI at job fairs and other activities to promote the BIXI employer brand.
  • Structures and implements the BIXI skills development program.
  • In collaboration with managers, identifies and analyzes the development needs of leaders and teams in relation to strategic issues and determines appropriate development strategies.
  • Develops, designs and facilitates training workshops for internal teams.
  • Advises internal clients on relevant and adapted pedagogical means according to the targeted objectives.
  • Creates courses in the learning management system (LMS).
  • Performs technical writing and develops training manuals using elearning software.
  • Maintains and updates the various training contents in partnership with the operational teams and internal content experts.
  • Supports, participates and advises managers in the development of their resources.
  • Ensures the followup of the company's training activities and proposes training to meet specific internal needs.
  • Ensures that the 1% training budget is respected.
  • Assists and supports the management of departmental projects such as the BIXI Academy and the development program: _Mon parcours_.
  • Liaises with external suppliers and give them training mandates when required.

Job requirements:

Requirements:

Knowledge

  • University degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Experience in facilitating training, workshops, team meetings.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office suite.

Skills

  • Strong project management skills, ability to plan milestones and meet deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills (French and English).
  • Ability to work under pressure with limited deadlines.
  • Ability to understand business issues and align tasks and projects with them.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple files.

Soft Skills

  • Autonomy and discretion.
  • Good team spirit and leadership skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, empathy, great listening skills.

Assets

  • CHRP (Chartered Professionals in Human Resources) professional designation
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and other recruitment tools and technologies
  • Experience with training and training tracking tools
