Society, Environment and Sustainability deals with how scientific-technological, socio-economic, political-institutional and behavioural factors mediate society-environment interactions.

Teaching Qualification Requirements:
Ph.
D in Environment or Ecology or Economics or other environment-related fields relevant to the topic of the course

Prior experience in team teaching at a university level in sustainability science and policy is preferred.

Demonstrated experience in teaching undergraduate environmental courses especially ones that feature an interdisciplinary or multidisciplinary mix of natural and social sciences including course work and research with an emphasis on North American environmental policy.

As this is a team taught course, experience will need to complement the team expertise.

This is a Macdonald Campus course.

Reporting to the Director Bieler School of Environment, the course lecturer delivers lectures in a team teaching class on North American sustainability and environmental science and policy.

Co-grades assignments and end of term examination and ensure that marking standards are appropriate and uniformly applied. Provides study aids for students and will respond to academic requests from students. Fosters critical thinking.
