Project Manager Position:

  • Maintaining all client files, samples and catalogue system
  • Research and pricing of products
  • Placing purchase orders for client's projects
  • Schedule trades and track order progress
  • Tracking Billable Time
  • Direct Coordination with Client Designer/Owner, and Contractor/Trades
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for projectrelated inquires, clarifications, and updates both internally and with clients.
  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among project team members and clients
  • Proactively identify and solve projectrelated issues, risks and conflicts
  • Organizing purchase orders binders/ computer files
  • Ensuring deliverables are achieved on time and in accordance with client's construction management processes and budgets.
  • Communicate as primary contact for all projectrelated matters among clients, consultants, and construction managers during posttender phases up the turnover of the completed project.
  • Coordinate design with all other consultants involved in the project.
  • Filling all back up quotes, invoices, and waybills
  • Creating and up dating purchase order summaries
  • Creating delivery schedules
  • Consolidating deliveries to site
  • Coordinate and be responsible for shop drawing review or finish approvals of orders.
  • Participate in value engineering and time sensitive substitutions.

Qualifications:

  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada holding Canadian Citizenship, Permanent Resident Status or valid work permit.
  • Minimum of 5 years project management experience in all phases of projects for highend hospitality, private or multiresidential projects
  • Working knowledge of interior construction, drawings, and specifications
  • Technical Skills: Able to communicate or clarify design intent by way of handsketch or 3d SketchUp (Optional)
  • PMP Certification OR Design Education/Construction Drawing Course
  • Excellent communication skills, computer skills, speed and accuracy vital, indepth knowledge of EXCEL and its capabilities
  • Experience at SAGE beneficial
  • Excellent memory and attention to detail
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the design profession and the firm
