Title:
Apprentice Archaeologist

Job Summary:

Katzie Development Limited Partnership is seeking causal, on call Apprentice Archaeologists and Field Technicians to assist with archaeological fieldwork on a large systematic data recovery program within a significant archaeological site.

This position will also support other field programs.

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist in archaeological fieldwork
  • Assist with artifact cataloguing
  • Assist with archaeological reporting and data entry
  • Assist with Junior Katzie Technician jobs as needed
  • Any tasks assigned by the KDLP management

Education, Experience, and Competence:

  • Located in British Columbia
  • Ability to legally work in Canada
  • Experience with data entry
  • Excellent computer skills (outlook/word/excel)
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills are essential
  • Must be highly motivated
  • Able to work independently and work cooperatively in a team setting

$26.85 per hour
