Jb Descriptin:


The Prject Crdinatr is accuntable t and draws authrity frm a Prject Manager and the Cnstructin Manager, regarding issues such as safety, quality, prgress, cst, schedule and any ther prject matters.


The Prject Crdinatr prvides verall supprt t the prject and assists the prject team with verall prject perfrmance including csts, schedule, quality and prject status.


The Prject Crdinatr is accuntable and respnsible fr:

Design

  • T maximize all pprtunities while mitigates all ptential risk, the PC's are familiarizing themselves with the cntract dcuments including but nt limited t:
Prject Agreement

Trade Cntracts

Scpes f wrk

Prcre Technlgy and Management

  • The PM's are attending weekly design meetings with a view t funnel the design twards a pint where the agreements set in the dcuments are achieved. These meetings are minute by them and they fllw up n actin items agreed in the meeting. It's the Rle f the PC's t assist with this prcess.
  • As per the agreed milestne schedule design submissins are reviewed by the PM's and the user grups prir t frmal submissins. Cmments arising frm the Crwn review prcess are then taken under advisement and design changes are implemented apprpriately. It's the rle f the PC's t assist with this prcess.

Prcurement

  • Once design dcuments are develped t a pint where prcurement is reasnable cnsidering the risk fr ptential changes related t design develpment, the dcuments are issued fr tender.
  • At the time f prequalificatin, the PC's are cmpiling scpes fr each tender package based n cmplex cnstraints derived frm the varius resurces. Participatin in the design meetings gives them the advantage f being already familiar with the design dcuments and the path that lead t the final cntent f them.
  • PC's are arranging internal scpe review meetings with the field and the risk management team tgether t vet the packages befre they are issued t the bidders. This prcess has the intent t guarantee synchrnizatin f all effrts input by the varius sectins f the entire team.
  • When tenders are clsed the PC's wuld arrange bid review meetings with the running up bidders and subsequently prepare a bid recap sheet.
  • An award recmmendatin letter is then prepared summarizing all their findings fr the upper management t make the award.

Operatins

  • Once the successful bidder is awarded a startup meeting is arranged with all the stakehlders (safety, quality, security, etc.). This meeting utlines the administratin prcedures thrughut the lifecycle f each subcntract.
  • PC's are finalizing and issuing the subcntracts n a timely manner.
  • PC's are respnsible t mentr and guide their Field Engineers wh are invlved in the daytday crdinatin f their subcntractrs. PC's will fllw up with the trades n all the submissin requirements, answer and/r rute RFI's and SDS's t the cnsultants and keep all cntract dcuments uptdate fr the field staff with the dcument cntrllers.
  • PC's wuld prepare and cmmunicate a mutually agreed billing breakdwn t accunting. Each billing is vetted and apprved by the PM's as well as the field staff.
  • During the wrks the PC's are respnsible t manage the changes that arise due t varius reasns. Each change is frmally cmmunicated t the trades describing the scpe invlved and the relevant cntract dcument changes as applicable. PC's help the Field Engineers t maintain a lg f estimated values fr each anticipated subcntractr qute.
  • PC's are respnsible t chair meetings with their subcntractrs n an agreed upn basis. The nature f these meetings might be related t site crdinatin and/r financial issues.
  • Depending n the strategy applied t the subcntracts, the PC's and/r the senir PM will negtiate the value assciated with the subcntract revisins.
  • PC's are mnitring the dcuments necessary fr the clseut prcess. Sme f the dcuments are being cmpiled after the shp drawings are returned and the scpe is built in. By the time cnstructin activities are cmplete mst f the clseut dcuments wuld be gathered as discussed in the startup meeting.
