Looking for full time accountant to join our Design and Construction firm.

Minimum 5 years experience in construction accounting.

Responsibilities include:

  • Follow internal control and accounting procedures
  • Check and verify source documents such as invoices, receipts, contracts, etc.
  • Manage A/P
  • Handle a variety of AR, Collection and Reporting functions with minimal supervision and a commitment to quality standards.
  • Collect and organize expense receipts and calculate and generate expense reports
  • Enter data accurately and timely into QuickBooks
  • Maintain General Ledger and Financial Statements
  • Reconciliation of relevant accounts
  • Must be able to maintain payroll weekly.
  • Organize and keep filing system up to date
  • Support financial recording of data
  • Photocopy and organize scanned receipts and source documents
  • Assist in other administrative tasks, answering phones, etc.
  • General office management responsibilities

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
  • Enthusiasm and willingness to learn
  • Must have driver's license & vehicle.
