BI Consultant

Work location - Montreal QC Hybrid

Functional accountability:
6+ years exp

  • Deliver engaging BI visualizations, using complex data sets, often under very short time constraints
  • Review existing development practices and procedures and propose recommendations and strategies for improvements as required
  • Work hand in hand with developers in order to analyze data and solution the best way to prepare data for responsive and optimized BI visualizations and new automation processes
  • Work on complex data analyses and BI visualizations for dashboards
  • Build data models for BI purposes
  • Engage with Air Canada BI team regularly to raise concerns, ask questions, make suggestions,..

Required skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong data visualization skills
  • Experience in writing complex and efficient SQL in order to extract and analyze data
  • Advanced skills with tools such as PowerBI, Powerapps, Fabric, Streamlit
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Experience in providing support and guidance on BI capabilities to the business
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask with a strong sense of priorities

Job Type:
Fixed term contract

Contract length: 12 months

Pay:
$40.00-$50.00 per hour
