This position requires you to stand for extended periods as part of the requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Promote a Safe and Secure Culture
  • Be professional at all times
  • Monitor premises to detect any signs of intrusion or suspicious activities
  • Enforce rules, regulations, and company policies to maintain a safe environment
  • Respond to alarms and incidents promptly, taking appropriate action as necessary
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors, answering inquiries, and providing directions
  • Write detailed reports on incidents, observations, and any necessary actions taken that will assist you

Requirements:

  • Must have a valid Alberta Security Services and Investigators ActLicense
  • Proven experience as a security officer or relevant position preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with diverse individuals
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, as well as perform physical tasks as needed
  • Sound judgment and the ability to make quick decisions in highpressure situations
  • Familiarity with security equipment and protocol

Note:
The employee may perform other related duties as assigned by their supervisor
