Accounting Technician

Job description
Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with account reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Process Invoices, purchase orders and maintain client commission records
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting activities
- Prepare financial reports and assist with analysis of financial data
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for financial reporting
- Provide support during audits and assist with compliance requirements
- Assist with the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings
Requirements:
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in data entry and working with financial software/systems
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Experience with budgeting and financial analysis is preferred
- Familiarity with quick books online and payroll
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Note:
Experience in the financial services industry is preferred
Pay:
$17.00-$20.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Accounting: 1 year (required)
- Bookkeeping: 1 year (required)
