Job Description: About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 12S&P Dow Jones Indices is seeking a Associate Director, Cloud Engineering to be a key player in the Infrastructure Engineering team to manage Cloud and Infrastructure projects for running index applications. This role requires a seasoned Project Manager familiar with Cloud who works effectively, both independently as well as collaboratively, in a team environment. Responsibilities:

  • Manage technical projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget and follow predefined standards.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocation plans.
  • Coordinate and lead projects teams across multiple specialties.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration across multiple teams.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and other issues.
  • Manage project scope and budget.
  • Develop technical documentation and specification.
  • Create and maintain Project Status Reports.
  • Track Infrastructure project tasks.
  • Track Service Delivery.
  • Liaison with SPDJI application Teams.
  • Schedule Meetings with application teams, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Document Meeting Minutes.
  • Monitor Project Health.
  • Define and track Milestones.
  • Review processes and drive improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, corporate policies, and best practices.
  • Liaison with Corporate PMO
Requirements: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Strong analytical and technical skills, with ability to understand complex technical issues.Good understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies and project management principles.Experience handling AWS Cloud related projects.Experience with DevOps practices.Experience with project management tools and techniques, like Jira, Agile, MS Project.Degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.Certification in project management.Around 15 years of experienceAbout S&P Global Dow Jones IndicesAt S&P Dow Jones Indices, we provide iconic and innovative index solutions backed by unparalleled expertise across the asset-class spectrum.
