***:The Student Counsellor will work under the supervision of assigned therapists to ensure coordinated delivery of recreational activities associated with children and youth who are members of the Nipissing Association for Disabled Youth.

**JOB DUTIES**
- Assists the assigned One Kids Place therapist by carrying out one-to-one or group activities with children/youth.
- Assists the therapist in implementing activities that support social and recreational development.
- Participates in the orientation and training provided by One Kids Place.
- Other duties as assigned.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Some experience working or volunteering in the health care or human service sector
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills required
- Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team supporting different professionals
- Computer competency with a variety of software is required
- Ability to work independently and in a professional manner respecting client confidentiality and program integrity
- Must have some leadership skills and the ability to engage participants in a variety of group activities.
- Valid Ontario driver's license (class G) is an asset
- Bilingualism (English/French) is an asset
- Proof of COVID Vaccinations as required by the sector

**COMPENSATION**:$16.55 hourly

- Expérience de travail ou de bénévolat dans le secteur des soins de santé ou des services sociaux
- Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite requises
- Excellentes compétences organisationnelles et interpersonnelles requises
- Capacité à travailler au sein d'une équipe interdisciplinaire soutenant différents professionnels
- Des compétences informatiques avec une variété de logiciels sont requises
- Capacité à travailler de manière indépendante et professionnelle en respectant la confidentialité du client et l'intégrité du programme
