Duties to include:
- Ensures that the school's program operates within the Ministry of Education guidelines, and school policies.
- Communicating with other education institution for partnership.
- Manage ONSIS and maintenance of Ontario Student Records, generating student report cards and Ontario Student Transcripts.
- Prepare for high school inspections from Ontario Ministry of Education
- Follow, document, and solve any outstanding issues raised by the Ministry of Education's inspection.
- Oversees the hiring, training and orientation of Academic staff.
- Supervises the work of teachers and support staff, offering constructive feedback, encouragement and consultative assistance and making written evaluations as appropriate.
- Oversee the formulation of study plans for each student according to their current grade level and university program choices.
- Ensures the development of guidelines for student behavior, and ensures that an acceptable level of behavior is maintained in a manner.
- Ensures that the liaison with parents and community is carried out in a manner.
- Develops partnerships with individuals and organizations to enhance programming.
- Provide general administrative support to the Schoo staff.
- Any other duties assigned by the directors.
Requirements:
- Strong Management experience
- 5+ years' experience in a school leadership role
- Familiar with online course management and online teaching management
- Experience in international school is perferred
- Experience or knowledge in guidance/admissions is an asset
- Commitment to creating a productive educational experience
- Openminded, willing to embrace challenges, a good conflicts conciliator
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work collaboratively and independently
- Strong problem solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills and organizational skills
