What will be your daily pursuit?

Welcoming and assisting our guests by maintaining and enhancing our hotels.

This is a full-time, permanent role with a standard 40-hour workweek.

Compensation

The initial salary for this position is $21.00 per hour.

What will you do in this job?

  • Maintain and repair hotel guest rooms, public areas, staff residences, and offices
  • Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) tasks
  • Handle minor plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry work
  • Maintain outdoor areas like walkways, lawns, and gardens
  • Assist tradesmen and contractors as needed
  • Order necessary parts and equipment
  • Maintain compliance with all health and safety programs
  • Ensure a safe work environment
  • Support the hotel's environmental initiatives
  • And more

What skills and experience do you need for this role?

  • Prior experience in Building Maintenance (PPM)
  • Knowledge of computerized Building Maintenance Systems is an asset
  • Familiarity with HVAC systems, chiller operations, and working without supervision
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Skills in plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and troubleshooting
  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to honesty and integrity
