As a regional painter you would support improvements in the Optima Living communities within the Edmonton area. You are responsible for painting the common areas on a regular basis. assist the maintenance manager with some minor maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, clean and sand surfaces to be painted.
  • Repair cracks and holes
  • Mix paint to desired colour and texture.
  • Estimate costs and materials.
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment.
  • General maintenance knowledge to assist with minor repairs, plumbing, and other projects
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum of five (5) year experience painting
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with peers, residents, visitors, and operational partners
  • Superior organizational skills with the ability to handle fast paced environment
  • Solid organizational skills, demonstrate the ability to prioritize and problem solve
  • Ability to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time
