What you'll do

  • Develop predictive models that will form the basis for information driven strategies in Credit Risk and Marketing
  • Perform optimization analysis and build supporting component predictions
  • Create customer segmentation schemes that will provide our analytic teams with insights into our customers
  • Monitor effectiveness of all statistical models and recommend appropriate course of action
  • Perform full cycle model design and development from target definition through to implementation and performance measurement
  • Deliver effective communications of key design elements and development results

What you bring

  • University degree in a quantitative discipline, Mathematics or Statistics preferred
  • Demonstrated superior analytical, mathematical and problem solving skills
  • Good working knowledge of statistical techniques and predictive modeling
  • Programming experience, preferably with data extraction/mining tools (e.g. SAS, SQL, Python)
  • Ability to accurately and consistently deal with granular and detailed data
  • Proven ability to translate business needs into statistically sound solutions
  • Capable of clearly communicating analytical results to business stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience performing statistical analysis or building predictive models from large, complex data sets
  • Previous experience in credit cards/unsecured lending, credit scoring or customer segmentation
  • Familiarity with statistical modeling or data mining software
