About the Role:
We're looking for cleaners with a passion for a clean space This is an opportunity to work for an organization that is proud to provide an essential service – keeping our communities safe & sanitized. This is a temporary contract from May 31, 2024 to June 17, 2024 , with the possibility of the role becoming permanent.
What you'll be doing:
Disinfecting all high touch point areas Sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming Cleaning building common areas, hallways, lobbies, bathrooms, kitchen etc. Collect and dispose of trash in garbage containers on a regular basis Spot cleaning walls, ceilings, partitions, light switches and windowsills, door glass Operate cleaning equipment such as: auto scrubbers, carpet cleaners, high dusting equipment, Etc. Heavy Sweeping Changing light bulbs and cleaning fixtures General Maintenance duties Driving a tractor to haul garbage away Enhanced cleaning as per work orders when requested Additional tasks assigned by ManagerYou have:
A minimum of 1 year of cleaning experience in a commercial setting required Must hold a valid Driver's License Experience operating a Tractor is considered an asset Experience operating an auto scrubber, carpet cleaner, and high dusting equipment is considered a strong asset, but not required Strong time management skills in order to ensure all work is completed by the end of shift Ability to take initiative to determine and complete necessary tasks, even with minimal supervision Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team Physically able to reach, stretch, bend, and walk during daily routine Knowledge of WHMIS is not required, but considered an asset Must be able to pass a background checkWe offer:
