Duties:
Join Elections Canada as a Field Communications Officer within the Field Strategic Communications and Planning team. Work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This role is pivotal in supporting strategic communications and planning efforts, especially during federal elections or special projects.
Responsibilities include drafting, editing and comparative editing of communications products used to communicate with our network of election administrators across the country.
The Field Communications Officer will work closely with their colleagues and team lead, ensuring messages are clear and consistent, and effectively reach election administrators and their staff.
This position is instrumental in delivering federal election activities, requiring a good eye for detail and a strong focus on client service results.

Our building at 30 Victoria Street in Gatineau is in the heart of downtown. It has modern facilities, with collaborative work spaces, indoor parking and several restaurants nearby. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
Degree from a recognized post-secondary institution.
Notes:

EXPERIENCE
- Experience in developing, writing and editing formal correspondence, web content, user guides, or other communications products.
- Experience in using electronic working tools for language professionals, such as: terminology databases, online dictionaries, inhouse style guides, lexicons, glossaries, and other language and style reference materials.
- Experience in using Microsoft Word to edit documents electronically.
