Gymnastics Coach for our
Recreation Program.


FGC is a non-profit community-based gymnastics club offering WAG (Women's Artistic Gymnastics), recreational, preschool and drop-in gymnastics to Fort Saskatchewan and surrounding communities.

We are located 15 minutes North/East of Edmonton.

Our Mission:


To provide quality gymnastics instruction for all ages and all abilities emphasizing fun, fitness, safety, and progressive development at all levels.


Qualifications:

  • GF Certified
  • First Aid and Respect In Sport Leader
  • Criminal Record and Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Active Start is an asset

Attributes:

  • Energetic and passionate about the sport and coaching children/youth
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Organized
  • Reliable
  • Ability to work in a team environment while also being selfmotivated

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach relevant skills and techniques to participants
  • Provide ongoing demonstrations, feedback, encouragement
  • Act as a role model for all athletes in the club
  • Ensure the training areas are safe for athletes
  • Support the information flow between the club and families

What to Expect:

hours per week. Hours include daytime, late afternoon or evening shifts, and weekend shifts

  • Wage will be determined based on training and experience

$19.00-$22.00 per hour

  • Respect in Sport Leader Certification (required)
  • First Aid Certification (required)
  • Active Start Certification (preferred)
