In this role, you will act as an extension of the De'Longhi Group brand team, engaging with consumers through live stream shopping & retail product training and demos, working out of De'Longhi's Canadian Head Office and retail stores across Canada.

You may have experience in presenting in front of a camera, or at a minimum, are comfortable in doing so.

Your role is to drive sales through your product expertise, education, demonstrations and support consumers, retail associates and managers through presenting and demonstrating their products both at in person training and demo events but also via their live stream platforms.


What You'll Be Doing Every Day:

Centered out of the De'Longhi Canada head office in Brampton, the Shop Live experience is where you are creating an immersive and captivating product demo experiences for our customers across multiple live streaming platforms.

Your main role is to drive sales by engaging with consumers, store associates and managers demonstrating the core features and benefits of the De'Longhi Group product lines with a particular focus on their award-winning espresso machines.

Product Demonstration:

  • The De'Longhi virtual Studio will have you speaking with our valued customers throughout the day. You will have a oneway audio/video feed (consumers will be able to see and hear you, you will be able to hear them, but not see them)
  • Conduct live demonstrations of De'Longhi products. With a special focus on all our coffee machines, you'll leverage your barista skills, showcasing how easy our machines are to use while educating customers on the art of making a perfect cup of coffee
  • Build brand awareness and loyalty by sharing the brand story and values with customers.
  • Answer customer questions on coffee products, brewing techniques, and the brand.
  • Provide In person demonstrations and product trainings at retail locations as required during key promotional periods and events.
  • Collaborate with the inhouse management team to ensure a consistently highquality customer experience.

Live Experience Management:

  • Host live events at our De'Longhi Studio, creating an engaging and entertaining atmosphere for customers.
  • Utilize your onscreen charisma to captivate and connect with the audience, enhancing the overall customer experience.
  • Use your influence to create content that resonates with our target demographic, driving interest and foot traffic to our De'Longhi Website

Your Skill Set:

  • Strong onscreen presence with the ability to engage and influence audiences through various media channels.
  • Experience as a Barista with a deep understanding of coffee education and culture.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative and captivating content.
  • Strong organizational and event planning skills.
  • Knowledge of other languages is a definite asset.
  • The desire to achieve sales goals both individually as well as a team.
  • A quick learning aptitude with the ability to carry out self learning through a dedicated learning platform.
  • Strong personal drive, problem solving skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to take initiative.
  • The ability to systematically walk a customer through how our machines work and make it look easy every time
  • Superior communication and presentation skills, and the ability to establish rapport with consumers you cannot see
