_ Position Overview_

_ What you will do_

  • Prepare test plans
  • Work closely with project team members to define and refine testing requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Ensure traceability to solution requirements and specifications to ensure optimal test coverage
  • Prepare and maintain test data
  • Create, execute and maintain automated and manual test scripts
  • Log defects in defect tracking tools
  • Manage defects through the defect lifecycle
  • Report test results to stakeholders
  • Plan, monitor, and control testing activities and tasks during User Acceptance Testing

_ Qualifications _

  • 5+ years experience in software testing, preferably working in an agile team
  • Experience working with modern web technologies such as JSON, HTTP2, and WebSocket's
  • Experience testing modern RESTFUL APIs
  • Experience with modern testing frameworks for Node, Python, React native, React is considered an asset
  • Experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC), Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources (FHIR) and Health Level 7 (HL7) is considered an asset
  • Experience testing cloudnative, scalable, and highly available distributed systems is considered an asset
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services is considered an asset
  • CAST, CSQA, or ISTQB certification is considered an asset
  • Comfortable communicating with other developers, clinical, and operations staff to solve openended problems
  • Interest in doing missionoriented work especially in the healthcare space
