Job Summary:

You are a safety conscious team player with previous experience as a Flag Person. You will be working with our Highway Construction crew throughout southern and central Alberta on various projects.

This will be a full-time position and Ledcor will help support your on-going employee training and career development in our diversified company.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Direct trucks and equipment on and off site while maintaining safety of the area
• Direct public traffic, including vehicles and pedestrians
• Incorporate health and safety concepts into work activities, including completing field level hazard assessments and participating in safety talks.
• May perform general labourer duties as assigned, including sign setup in the work zones.

Qualifications:

• Previous flagging experience is an asset
• Must possess a valid class 5 driver's license and clean driver's abstract
• Must successfully complete preemployment drug and alcohol testing
• Must have demonstrated ability to work under mínimal supervision
• Must be approachable, ethical, and accountable

Work Conditions:

• This position is likely to run from May to November 202
• Living out allowance of $130.00 per day is provided
• Benefits and RSPs provided by CLAC
• Preference for those with an RV or trailer, camp area with hookups provided
