Kodiak Industrial Chrome is currently looking to fill the position of permanent full-time Machinist Apprentice.
Applicants must be willing to work overtime as required, including weekends. It is also expected that the successful applicant will have their own tools.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Previous machine shop experience is an asset
- Willing to work different shifts as dictated by the needs of the business
- Knowledge and ability to follow safety practices
- Physically fit to lift items weighing up to 20 kg.
- Mechanically inclined
- A knack for troubleshooting and problem solving
- Work alongside Journeyman Machinists and learn onthejob.
- Operates Fork Lifts and overhead cranes
- Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, or grinders.
- Dismantle equipment, using hand tools and power tools, in order to examine parts for defects and replace defective parts where needed.

$20.00-$43.00 per hour
