Position Overview
  • **Seasonal position with benefits.
  • Night shift
  • Wages range from $25-30/hour, depending on experience and suitability.
  • Guaranteed 80-88 hours bi-weekly of scheduled work. Overtime after 88 hours bi-weekly
  • Team member is to be laid-off during the winter months, however will keep their benefits while on EI. The team member would then return in the spring to their full-time, seasonal salaried position.

We are looking for a Foreman to join our crew. As the Foreman, you will supervise and contribute to a variety of projects for different clients across the city.

Job Description
Our Pavement Maintenance Technicians use our specialized equipment and apply materials on pavement surfaces to deliver maximum value for our clients' pavement assets (e.g. asphalt repairs, crack filling, asphalt sealing, line painting, etc.).

Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Supervise and assist with the production of night work.
  • Operate equipment for tasks like line painting, asphalt crack filling and seal coating, power washing, epoxy flooring, and more
  • Ensure the night crew works safely, efficiently, and stays on schedule
  • Organize and oversee the execution of high-quality projects
  • Provide daily updates on job progress to the Operations Manager
  • Maintain a safe work environment
  • Complete additional duties as needed
QualificationsWHAT YOU BRING
  • A G Class driver's license with a clean driving record (Driver's Abstract is required) and reliable transportation
  • You are a proactive problem solver with strong critical thinking skills
  • You value punctuality, organization, and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle physically demanding tasks involving walking, bending, and lifting (up to 75lbs)
  • Capable of working independently without supervision
  • Previous experience with small engines (e.g. lawnmowers) and/or paint sprayers is beneficial
  • An educational background in Engineering is advantageous
