Associate Product Manager, Digital Technology

We're looking for like-minded individuals to join our team.

This is a Full-time, Salaried position.

About The Associate Product Manager, Digital Technology:

As an Associate Product Manager, Digital Technology, you will be responsible for the product management of MAD's digital technology, such as MosaicONE and other digital products, and will be responsible for driving the development and implementation of new software features, hardware integrations and overall product strategy.


Key Responsibilities:

Product Management

  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new product opportunities.
  • Manage product and feature development from initiation to MVP and beyond by anticipating issues and offering clarification.
  • Collaborate with customers, sales, and engineering teams to gather and prioritize product requirements, ensuring alignment with market needs and customer expectations.
  • Develop PRDs for new Software features and hardware integrations.
  • Develop and maintain product roadmaps, feature lists, and technical specifications for digital hardware and software products.
  • Interface with electrical, software, and other technical teams to ensure seamless integration of hardware and software components.
  • Provide feedback and direction on MAD competitiveness in market related to price, product, service and quality.
  • Develop sales tools and marketing materials.
  • Identify new market segments or areas for business growth.
  • Coordinate and lead crossfunctional teams through the entire product development lifecycle, from concept to launch, ensuring timely delivery and highquality products.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats to inform product strategy and positioning.
  • Define and monitor key performance metrics to measure product success and inform continuous improvement efforts.
  • Manage product backlog, prioritizing features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market research, and business objectives.
  • Continuously gather market intelligence and stay uptodate on industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Contribute to product design decisions, including hardware, software, UI, and UX, ensuring a cohesive and compelling user experience.
  • Create technical documentation as required, such as product manuals.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure product hardware and software execution aligns with specifications and objectives.
  • Serve as a liaison between the development team and other stakeholders, clarifying requirements and addressing open issues as needed.
  • Support backlog management and ensure alignment with product objectives.
  • Develop and articulate a compelling vision for new product features and enhancements
Sales & Technical Support

  • Educate and support the Sales team on MAD product knowledge and configuration.
  • Provide postsales customer support on MAD products, includes consultation on product configuration, installation, and usage.
  • Provide advanced technical support to the Technical Support team with support of development team as needed.
  • Promote products to targeted customers.
Other

  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Able to lift up to 15lbs; may work in hot areas 5%, noise 0%.
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area.

Attributes, Skills and Knowledge:

  • A Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, Project Management and/or equivalent relevant experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in product management, preferably in the IoT, Cloud, or Embedded Hardware sectors
  • At least 12 years' experience in Sales
  • Exceptional project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with a datadriven approach to decisionmaking
  • Understanding of Software Development, Electronics and Hardware concepts, with the ability to interface effectively with technical teams
  • Experience in developing and launching successful hardware and software products
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a keen interest in building bestinclass hardware and software solutions
  • Experience providing technical expertise and support to internal teams and customers during product demonstrations, installations, and troubleshooting

This position works out of our Mississauga, Ontario location. Hours are typically 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with flexibility.
