We are committed to providing our Co-ops/Interns with a student experience that provides a supportive and engaging learning environment while developing skills and business acumen.

Students will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of experiences including our Corporate Speaker Series, Fireside Chats, Volunteer opportunities and Networking events.

Based out of The Post - Vancouver, the Co-op/Intern Operations will report directly to the General Manager.

This role will support the greater of the operations team with a variety of tasks such as communications, lease review, reporting and scheduling.

Along with providing timely customer service to both internal and external clients.

What You Will Experience:

  • Provide support for all aspects of daytoday activities
  • Administrative functions relating to property management as specified, provide support to the Tenant Coordinator, Operations Coordinator and Operations Supervisor where required;
  • Assist with the development of appropriate operating procedures and ensuring legislative or regulatory requirements are adhered to;
  • Work with development and operations team to professionally draft communications and assist with the coordination of activities with respect to scheduled maintenance, site visits, daily correspondence, other notices as required;
  • Read and understand leases to ensure accurate information is received and maintained;
  • Assist with environmental assessments and reporting;
  • Scheduling of loading dock and elevator bookings during construction of tenant improvement;
  • Setting up preventative maintenance work orders in Angus Anywhere along with tracking equipment take over documentation and warranties;
  • Maintain and update tenant contact information, distribution lists and occupancy permits;
  • Embrace and proactively support the QuadReal culture of environmental sustainability, and corporate and social responsibility;
  • Other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring:

  • Currently enrolled in an academic program preferably in Real Estate, Tourism & Hospitality Management or Business.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and present results that articulate key themes and messages.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word; knowledge of Yardi Accounting systems a plus.
  • Previous experience in administrative and general accounting duties along with strong customer service skills is considered an asset.
