Pro Vita is seeking Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) who have a strong passion for supporting the elderly to join our team at Long Term Care in Kamloops.

• Term of Employment: Full-time, Part-time

• Full-time (Temporary): 4 days on & 4 days off, 2 days at 6:45am - 6:45pm and 2 days at 6:45pm - 6:45am, 40 hours/week
• Part-time: 4 days on & 4 days off, 6:45pm-10:45pm, 14 hours/week

• Graduation from a recognized Practical Nurses program or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience recognized by the BCCNM
• Active registration with the BCCNM as an LPN
• Maintain Occupational First Aide Level 1 status
• Satisfactory proof of COVID-19 vaccinations
• Pass and comply with Ministry of Justice Criminal Record Check upon hire and every 5 years thereafter
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written

• Preferred experience in Gerontology
• Education in MDS (Gold Care or Point Click Care)

• Observe, monitor, document, and update information about residents' physical and psychological condition, care, and nursing procedures
• Provide and assist with personal care to residents as required
• Support emergency staff scheduling when needed
• Ensure adherence to infection control practices and provide necessary education
