years direct experience in the assessment and writing of formal Security Assessment (ITSG-33 based) and Authorization reports, evaluating current processes being followed for SA&A reports, and implementing new tools/processes for SA&A.

Example Documents Created:

 IT security controls (ITSG-33 based or equivalent) and applicable safeguards;  Assessment of security in High Level Design and Detail Design documentation;  Assessment of build books;  Assessment of security threats;  Assessment of mitigation strategies;  Assessment of residual risk;  Assessment of Integration Security Testing;  Assessment of Security in Information System Production Environment;  Assessment of Secure Development Environment;  Integration of Security throughout a project lifecycle.

2) 3+ projects experience preparing briefings for, and making presentations equivalent to Canadian Government EX1 level and above within SSC and/or one of its partner organizations

3) Must have supported 2+ projects, in a classified environment where SA&A's needed to be conducted on new services being rolled out.

Description:

**This position is for a Federal Government client located in Ottawa, and requires an onsite (hybrid) working requirement due to the classified environment. Could be one of four locations though.

**Secret clearance required and for onsite requirement, should be located near the NCR.

This role is to act as a security assessor however the consultant may be asked to provide additional support like a practitioner at times. The consultant is to help shape the security posture of the overall environment. This person will be responsible for liaising with the service lines, and project team. They will be required to go onsite 2-3 times a week, as this is supporting the classified environment and some information can only be accessed onsite.
