The Director of Sales will oversee a team of account executives and managers responsible for sales to State or Local potential clients and customers.

What your impact will resemble:
  • Meet sales financial objectives through forecasting, budgeting, and corrective actions.
  • Achieve sales human resource objectives by recruiting, training, and managing employees.
  • Accomplish territory sales operational objectives by providing sales insights, implementing strategies, and resolving issues.
  • Establish sales goals by formulating a sales plan aligned with national objectives.
  • Expand customer base by guiding account executives and managers and identifying new opportunities.
  • Stay updated on industry trends through education and networking.
  • Advance sales goals and organizational mission through dedicated efforts.
You will excel in this role if you possess:
  • Confidence, competitiveness, thoroughness, flexibility, and tenacity.
  • Experience in managing a team of 8-12 sales professionals.
  • The ability to coach a team handling substantial deals within a diverse sales pipeline.
  • Goal-driven and self-motivated.
  • Excitement for managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Accountability, strong prioritization skills, and proficiency in managing prospecting activities.
  • A focus on client satisfaction and understanding client needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A proven track record in selling enterprise software, ERP, SaaS, marketing/communication technology, or marketing services.
  • Demonstrated success in selling to State and Local government entities.
  • Significant experience in C-Level sales engagement.
  • Proficiency in selling through partners, resellers, or integrators.
  • 3+ years of field sales management experience in IT, Information Services, or Business Services, and a total of 8+ years of field sales experience.

  • Maintain Granicus information security by upholding the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information assets.
  • Ensure data privacy compliance for employees and customers by completing required privacy training.
