As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a talented and dedicated Dispatcher to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success.


Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and dispatch drivers and equipment for timely and efficient delivery of goods to customers, while optimizing routes and maximizing truck capacity.
  • Maintain constant communication with drivers to monitor progress, address any issues, and provide necessary updates.
  • Track and document all activities, including load information, pickup and delivery times, and driver availability.
  • Monitor and manage driver hours of service to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Resolve any operational issues or delays promptly and effectively to minimize disruptions to customer service.
  • Continuously monitor and assess performance metrics, such as ontime delivery and driver efficiency, and implement improvement strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant certifications or education is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a Dispatcher in the trucking or transportation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation routing, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with drivers, customers, and team members.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple priorities and timesensitive tasks.
  • Problemsolving skills with a proactive and solutionoriented approach.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Familiarity with geographical areas and road networks to optimize route planning.
