Full-Time Linehaul Driver - Penticton based


Welcome to Claddagh Services Ltd., a privately owned and operated freight cartage company providing highway and in-town cartage, and distribution agency services for _
Clark Freightways_.

We have an opening for a Class 1 Driver for our Line Haul division.

This position is domiciled in Penticton and runs a round-trip "pedal run" to Kamloops and back, stopping in Kelowna and Vernon to way-freight.

This run operates 5 days per week from Monday to Friday, with a start time of 5:00 PM.

Including driving time (302 miles round trip), this run averages 10 hours per shift, and up to 12 hours depending on freight volumes.

You will assist in the unload and loading of freight at four terminals.

Requirements:

  • Class 1 license and a presentable driver's abstract;
  • Warehouse experience an asset.
  • Competent in English, both spoken and written;
  • Professional, mature attitude;
  • Competent in winter driving skills.
  • Forklift and electric pallet jack experience mandatory.

Job Types:
