What you bring to the role:

  • Overall 7 to 12 years of IT experience focused on QA in Guidewire Testing with strong knowledge in P&C insurance domain.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Guidewire full suite implementation.
  • Must have 3+ years of hands-on experience in Policy Center and Claim Center and working knowledge in Billing Center.
  • Experience in integration testing along with upstream and downstream systems integrated with Guidewire.
  • Good to have API testing experience using tools like SoapUI, Postman, etc.
  • Strong experience in different testing phases and methodologies specially in regression testing.
  • Good to have database testing skills.

What you'll do:

  • Own and manage delivery of all testing efforts and ensure timeliness and quality of deliverables.
  • Prepare Test Strategy, Plan and estimation.
  • Create End-to-End test plan & approach.
  • Participate in Sprint planning sessions, Review Test Requirements/Test Cases and help resolve the queries raised by the QA team.
  • Track and manage testing progress and communicate testing status during development and Stabilization phases.
  • Define and implement test automation strategy including roadmap, tools, framework & approach across program phases.
  • Participation in Defect Triage meetings as needed and help in quick turnaround of defects upon fixture.
  • Ensure effective implementation of processes and manage all testing deliverables, risks & issues.
  • Identify the regression scenarios by analyzing the criteria discussed earlier.
  • Drive metrics collation and status reporting to Customer senior management.
  • Preparation of "Project Retrospective Report" during the end of testing phase along with lessons learnt, what went well and improvement areas.
  • Coordination with Business during UAT and obtain the sign off for Quality gates
