Job Description

As a member of the Securitization Operations Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting CMHC's securitization guarantee activities. Your responsibilities will include undertaking pricing and analysis of Mortgage-Backed Securities, assisting with funding allocations, and contributing to the reporting on performance and risk measures related to CMHC's securitization programs.

What you'll do:

  • Compute and report on securitization performance measures
  • Review and allocate NHA MBS guarantees
  • Contribute to the execution of CMB program operations
  • Verify the eligibility of MBS pools offered for sale
  • Support projects to enhance MBS pricing and valuation
  • Monitor compliance with CMB program requirements
  • Ensure accurate performance of financial services advisor responsibilities
  • Provide solutions for complex issues in securitization programs

What you should have:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field
  • Minimum seven (7) years of relevant experience in securitization and/or capital markets
  • Advanced knowledge of MBS/ABS, fixed income security pricing/trading, and securitization funding models
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a sophisticated technological environment

Additional qualifications:

  • Post-graduate degree(s) in relevant fields
  • Professional designations in finance and risk management
