If you are passionate about post production, have exceptional organizational skills, and thrive in a remote work environment, please read on We are a small post-production team looking for a talented and dedicated Post Production Coordinator to join us.

This is a 90% remote position, so you can work from the comfort of your home or any location,
_as long as you have reliable fibre internet_.


As a Post Production Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our projects, adhering to workflows standards, maintain our asset library and supporting our team of creative professionals.


Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the Director of Post Production and Project Managers to manage and organize all aspects of a remote post production pipeline.
  • Jump into project files to execute minor changes in Premiere Pro.
  • General asset management throughout editing process.
  • Manage archive of finished projects and send assets to/from the archive.
  • Assist in coordinating post production schedules, ensuring deadlines are met, and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Create and maintain relevant documentation in our internal Wiki.
  • Manage file transfers from set, ensuring secure and efficient sharing of media assets.
  • Oversee quality control checks to ensure final deliverables meet our standards and adhere to project specifications.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with the Director of Post Production related to software, hardware, and internet connectivity to maintain a seamless remote work environment.
  • Communicate effectively on a remote basis with various stakeholders to maintain clear lines of communication throughout the post production process.
  • Occasionally communicate with client on post production matters.

Requirements:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.

  • Demonstrated and proven experience as a Post Production Coordinator or similar role within a creative agency, production house, or related field.
  • A selfstarter who can work independently to make decisions
  • Basic technical knowledge of video and audio codecs, formats, and compression techniques.
  • Demonstrated problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Access to a reliable and highspeed fibre internet connection.
  • Toronto based.

Nice to Haves:

  • Experience working with remote teams.
  • Experience in Lucid Link and DaVinci Resolve on MacOS.
