Position Summary:

CSN Collision / Phil's is seeking an Auto Body Technician. The ideal candidate can restore damaged vehicles to their original state, focusing on structural integrity, functionality, and appearance. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage changing priorities. The technician reports to the production manager.

Primary Objectives of the Auto Body (Collision Repair) Technician:

  • Review damage reports and repair cost estimates
  • Thoroughly assess collision damage
  • Perform structural and body repairs
  • Straighten frames and fix defects
  • Utilize welding equipment
  • Dismantle and repair damaged areas
  • File, grind, and sand surfaces
  • Restore vehicles to factory specifications
  • Inspect and test drive vehicles
  • Read and understand repair estimates
  • Work with various materials and parts
  • Follow standardized production processes
  • Act as a CSN ambassador
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of Auto Body Repair experience
  • Auto Body Collision and Damage Repairer License (preferred but not required)
  • Preferred certifications: I-Car and OEM
  • Physical requirements: Lifting up to 100 lbs
  • Valid Driver's license
  • Own tools and safety gear
  • Compliance Training and knowledge of relevant regulations
