As a Senior Application Developer , you will join CIBC's Financial Crimes & Enterprise Risk Technology department and assemble, implement and maintain easy, flexible, and personalized solutions that enhance the client experience. You'll participate in the planning and strategy for the technical design, development and integration of these applications. Reporting into the Senior Manager, Application Development, you be at the heart of CIBC's digital transformation, successfully delivering complex, enterprise-scale mobile projects involving multiple back-end systems.

  • Understanding Requirements - Work closely with Business Partners to understand complex business requirements
  • Design and development - Perform and coordinate complicated application programming activities. Design the application's technical infrastructure using specific programming languages, utilities, and testing approaches. Contribute to the design and development of cost-effective and innovative solutions.

Who you are

  • You can demonstrate experience in three or more areas: Java, Go Lang, SQL, Tableau, Webservice, GitHub, DevOps
  • You have a degree/diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer, Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field.
