As a Frontend Engineer, you'll be responsible for creating web experiences that allow ResMed's internal operational portal and status page to manage and present operational metrics and telemetry data. You will focus on enhancing our customer experiences, including leveraging the visualizations, notifications, and machine learning capabilities that delight our customers by providing actionable insights into our products, platforms and services. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ship features from design to release, as well as optimize tools and processes to improve operational excellence for both your team and our integrators.

Location: Toronto, Montreal, Calgary or Vancouver

Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience

Required:

  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of full-stack software development experience (Python and client-side languages like JavaScript)
  • Experience in developing user interfaces for complex applications, including responsiveness and accessibility considerations
  • Strong grasp of DevOps principles, including CI/CD and infrastructure
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
  • Strongly held test practices regardless of language or tools
  • Deep knowledge of source control, branching & release strategies, pull requests, and automated quality gates using tools like GitHub or Bitbucket

Preferred:

  • Experience in the public cloud (AWS) in building services using cloud-native technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, Serverless, etc.
  • Experience with SQL and databases in general
  • Experience working in an Agile SCRUM environment
