Shipper/reciever

Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying accuracy of contents and quality of items
• Unload and load trucks using heavy equipment such as forklifts or crane
• Operate warehouse management system to track inventory and update records
• Sort and organize received packages and distribute them to the appropriate departments or storage areas
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of goods
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving area
• Assist with inventory management, including conducting regular stock counts and reconciling discrepancies

Requirements:

• Previous experience in shipping/receiving or warehouse distribution preferred
• Proficient in operating heavy equipment such as forklifts or order pickers
• Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot any issues with equipment or machinery
• Ability to handle heavy lifting and perform physical tasks such as loading/unloading items
• Detailoriented with excellent organizational skills to accurately track inventory and maintain records
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and other departments

Salary:
From $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
