Due to recent expansion and growth we are currently recruiting for Maintenance Helper/General Labourer to join our team

Job Type / Category

  • Remove garbage plant wide
  • Recharg water softeners
  • Clean up around maintenance work areas throughout the plant
  • Clean out furnaces and press pit
  • Clean parts, tools and machinery
  • Perform basic fabrication and welding
  • Lift up to fifty pounds as required
  • Perform additional responsibilities as required and appointment by management
  • Work various shifts as required

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma preferred
  • Previous industrial experience preferred but not required
  • Good command of the English language both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated communication, problem solving, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • Material handling equipment (overhead cranes and forklifts) experience and asset
