Job Overview:


We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Server to join our team at The Restaurant on the Knoll in Picton, Ontario.

As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Duties:

  • Greet and seat guests in a timely and friendly manner
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
  • Deliver orders to tables promptly while ensuring accuracy
  • Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any questions
  • Assist with cash handling and processing payments
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in dining areas
  • Set up tables and ensure they are properly arranged for guests
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or special requests with professionalism

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Server or in a similar role is preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
  • Excellent math skills for accurate ordertaking and cash handling
  • Exceptional time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fastpaced environment
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive attitude and willingness to provide outstanding customer service
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
