The aim of Global Banking Technology and Operations (GBTO) Canada is to deliver day-to-day services to Société Générale investment and corporate bank units and their clients to accelerate their transformation.

GBTO provides a reliable, flexible, and efficient Risk & Finance platform and shared market data repository for MARK, RISQ, and DFIN, aiming to:

Fulfill regulatory commitments and ensure accurate reporting
Distribute certified data
Manage and ensure consistency in NPL, market, liquidity, and credit risks, as well as accounting and finance
Contribute to GBIS's digital transformation

Our team offers two Fixed Income market risk calculators: RiskOne for vanilla products and Highway for exotic products. RiskOne serves as the real-time risk analysis and valuation engine for fixed income, fixed income credits, and foreign exchange.

Key downstream applications include Great Server, GROS, DARIUS, and Mercury, which provide sensis and Pal figures for analysis and assist traders in managing their daily positions.

Functional Developer on the

Fixed Income Risk Analysis Application:
Develop new functionalities requested by the business (Front Office, RISQ, and Financing) within the bank's official risk calculator for interest rate, credit, and foreign exchange products
Write technical specifications
Propose innovative tools to improve user/developer experience
Share progress and communicate with traders, developers, and quants to enhance technical and functional knowledge
Real-Time Market Risk &

Pal Developer:
Ensure Real-Time (RT) indicators (nL, Risks) from the Risk Engine provide the most accurate market position view for traders
Research and resolve production issues, including analysis of Greeks, Pal, sensitivities, and data availability delays
Review batch configurations
Collaborate with front office, RISQ department, and developers
Work with RT Chapter members to build the target chain vision, including phasing out Excel tools and implementing the One Target user interface
Share progress and communicate with agile master
Experience in C# development, Java 8 is a real plus.
Pricing, Greeks, VaR, interest rate products (Swaps, FRA, Futures), PnL.
Experience working with databases.
Ability to speak to different profiles (technical, functional, management, support)
Familiarity with Java code reading (preferred but not required)

Languages:
French and English

Ability to communicate in English, both orally and in writing, is a requirement as the person in this position will need to collaborate regularly with colleagues and partners in the United States .
