The Marks Marcom team is our agile and talented agency-within-an-agency.

They create smart, insight- driven omni-channel campaigns, programs, and content – bringing them to life across multiple touchpoints and mediums, both digital and physical.

A multidisciplinary group of problem-solvers, our team uncovers the truth behind client asks and needs, developing innovative and creative solutions that engage audiences, build brands, and drive sales.

This position calls for a highly collaborative team member with a creative spark, sophisticated design abilities, strong communication skills, passion, and self-motivation.

As a Senior Designer you will be tasked with thoughtful problem-solving – not only developing design solutions that support larger campaign ideas and programs, but also bringing those ideas to life across different touchpoints and mediums – presenting and selling internally, and to clients, with passion and energy.

You have a keen design eye and hands-on prowess, matched only by your clever design thinking that addresses client needs and business goals.

You can shift seamlessly from solving communication problems to crafting high quality designs through to production.

From retail programs & communications to traditional media, social media, digital content and beyond, you help to set and maintain the quality bar for the creative product of the company at a level that is amongst the top tier within the industry.

You'll work and consult with teams across our entire Marks ecosystem, on an exciting range of clients and categories, including toys, food & beverage, beer, wine, spirits, technology, personal care, beauty, retail, and
Develop overarching design solutions for a range of communication touch points.

Work with your creative team partners to develop creative design solutions that support and expand on overarching campaign ideas and narratives.

Create high quality designs and communication pieces – everything from retail communications to social content, digital banners and more.

Adapt existing campaigns, KVs and design tools into unique communication pieces across a spectrum of touchpoints.
Act as a brand guardian for key account(s).
Develop and guide projects from creative development to final artwork execution.
Provide technical expertise with a focus on print and digital production.
Design with best-in-class retail principles in mind
Build and create compelling presentation decks to frame up and sell your creative ideas.
Lives and breathes marketing, design and omnichannel communications – gets excited to talk shop and always learn.
Confidently and clearly conveys ideas and design concepts, articulating and defending rationale behind designs.
Understands the needs of retail communications (information hierarchy, design best practices, touchpoints etc)
Generates smart design solutions supported by insights and ideas — rather than simply stylistic or trend-driven executions.
Is a hands-on creative that loves to roll up their sleeves and get things done.
Is equally comfortable in both physical and digital channels and knows how to tailor ideas and designs across the spectrum
Understands print production – and the various stages of moving work from concept to reality.
Is hungry to share and spread the love – wants to mentor junior designers and interns.

Has experience with shopper360 and trade marketing programs across a wide range of clients (including CPG, food/beverage, wine/spirits, electronics and toys).

A degree or diploma in Graphic design/Advertising & Marketing, or related field.
~A well-rounded portfolio showcasing excellent understanding of design in different communication spaces, mediums and approaches – including print and digital
~ Expert fluency in design software, especially Adobe Creative Cloud, Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Bachelors or better.
