Position Overview:

As a key member of Pathway's team, the Inside Sales Representative builds the brand and achieves customer loyalty by providing customers with efficient and effective service and assistance to meet their needs.

POSITION DETAILS:

Inside Sales:

  • Works to understand the needs of the customer, offers solutions, closes sales transactions.
  • Processes orders and completes sales transactions using internal technology/systems.
  • Keeps current on inventories items and features which includes a wide range of tools, instruments, clothing, materials, supplies, and equipment related to: Safety, facility/janitorial, handling and storage, electrical, plumbing, welding, fleet and automotive, office, packaging, and shipping.
  • Inventory Management: maintaining low stock levels, ordering, receiving, and restocking.
  • Keeps current on store promotions and discounts available.
  • Prepares, generates, and follows up on verbal or written quotations to secure orders, or determine reason for loss of order.
  • Reviews open customer order reports and acts on open items, including those items that may be at risk in meeting customer's promised delivery dates.
  • Reports industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to management.
  • Provides other related duties as directed.

Warehouse:

  • Select product, check for accuracy and pack for shipment.
  • Receive and verify accuracy of incoming shipments.
  • Process returns following established procedures.
  • Participate in regular cycle counts and annual inventory.
  • Performs other related duties.
