Architecture49 is seeking an Intermediate Architect to join our CENTRUS team.

The Centre Block Rehabilitation Project is a complex long-term heritage renovation, rehabilitation, and rejuvenation project of national interest within the Parliamentary Precinct. The project is serviced by CENTRUS, a dedicated, multi-disciplinary team with members from A49 and other joint venture organizations. Working from Canada's national capital, the team is focused on the extensive renovation, repair, upgrade, and replacement of various crucial components of the building. Responsibilities

Producing architectural design solutions and construction drawings. Working with and leading architectural teams, assisting in coordination of disciplines. Perform internal reviews and quality checks of the models and drawings to ensure compliance with BIM standards, standards and guidelines. Research materials, products and technologies required for the design and incorporate into the details, specifications and other documents.

Qualifications

Registered architect in Ontario (OAA), or eligibility to be registered. 6+ years experience delivering BIM projects using Revit. Familiarity with both Provincial and National related standards and codes. Knowledge of BIM principles & workflows, REVIT software, Microsoft 365 environment and Bluebeam. Familiarity with Heritage Architecture will be considered an asset.
