Responsibilities

Client Focus

  • Manage actuarial research, audits, and risk mitigation to drive business growth
  • Develop policy values, profit studies, and assist in financial reports preparation
  • Create monitoring reports for underwriting and claims analysis
  • Provide technical support for insurance plans development
  • Coordinate actuarial documentation and conclusions

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Enhance functional procedures with a focus on risk mitigation
  • Maintain controls and policies for the actuarial function
  • Support best practices and implement risk controls
  • Contribute to financial structure and projections
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external requirements

Team Collaboration

  • Participate fully as a team member and foster a positive work environment
  • Provide industry knowledge and support team development
  • Stay updated on emerging trends and developments
  • May supervise other team members and provide guidance
  • Contribute to team skills development through mentorship

Qualifications and Experience

  • University degree
  • 5+ years of related experience
  • Fellowship in progress
