Description:

The Municipality of North Perth is currently seeking
Seasonal Equipment Operators for the upcoming winter


Working alongside the Roads team, the operators will be responsible for assisting with winter operations including snow removal on roads and sidewalks as well as road construction and maintenance.


Qualifications:

  • Secondary School Diploma
  • DZ license preferred and ability to operate and maintain a snow plow and other equipment
  • Experience working in construction or a related field
  • Grader and frontend loader experience is an asset
The salary range for this position is $ $35.64 per hour plus stand-by pay according to the HR Policy. Salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Applicants must be available and committed to work the on-call requirements between November 2023 and April 2024. A winter schedule will be provided in advance. There is no guarantee of regular hours.
