THE OPPORTUNITY


Are you a skilled carpenter with a passion for creating beautiful and functional homes? Do you have a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering quality workmanship? If so, we invite you to join our team as a Carpenter.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform carpentry tasks including formwork, ICF, framing, roofing, wall systems, siding, and finishing work.
  • Construct and install structures and fixtures such as doors, windows, stairs, and more.
  • Collaborate with the project team to interpret blueprints and plans.
  • Ensure all work is completed in compliance with building codes and regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during construction.
  • Contribute to a positive and working collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized job site.
  • Collaborate with the construction team to ensure projects are completed on time and to the highest quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with team members.
  • Some travel will be necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years + of rough and finish carpentry experience.
  • 3rd 4th year apprentice or journeyperson ticket would be considered an asset.
  • A strong understanding of how to maximize material.
  • Attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • A valid driver's license.

Pay:
$20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
