We are seeking a Care Manager to join our KitsCare team. This role involves planning, directing, and setting clinical standards to ensure top-notch care quality. The responsibilities include meeting professional standards, adhering to organizational policies, and supporting corporate missions and values. An essential part of the role is fostering teamwork and positive outcomes for tenants. The ideal candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others while being empathetic to their concerns. Additionally, being on call during emergencies will be a shared responsibility.

Personal Characteristics:

  • High energy level and capable of handling multiple projects alongside daily tasks.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to relate well to various personalities in a diplomatic and adaptable manner.
  • Strong reasoning and judgment skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Resourceful and well-organized.
  • Ability to work independently with excellent interpersonal, writing, and presentation abilities.
  • Preference for a participative management style and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Strong clinical competencies.
  • Capable of establishing credibility, making decisions, and supporting organizational priorities.
  • Results and people-oriented, with the ability to balance business considerations and a service-oriented approach.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a current LPN license in good standing with the BCCNM.
  • Preferably 3-5 years of experience in gerontological nursing.

Requirements:

  • Job duties include significant sitting, standing, reaching, walking, lifting, and walking (considered 'Medium' by the National Occupational Classification (NOC)).
  • Frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 20lbs.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in the workplace.
  • Proof of vaccination is mandatory.
