About the Position

Summary of Responsibilities

Completion of audit, review or compilation files and related tax preparation. Builds effective working relationships in assignments with operational client contacts. Responds effectively to client requests. Provides suggestions related to an assignment or project. In house assignments such as accounting research or office administration

Summary of Experience

Preferred 1 Co-Op term experience related to accounting and assurance 1 year of customer service experience

Requirements:

Completion of a University Accounting degree Working towards obtaining their Canadian CPA designation. Basic understanding of IFRS, ASPE, CAS and Canadian Tax Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to communicate with external clients. Possess strong project management skills and organization, with the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Experience working with accounting and tax software such as Quickbooks, Caseware, Jazz-it, Tax Prep and Simply Accounting
