Job descriptions:
- Execute finishing operations according to works orders and ensure that all duties and tasks are performed according to safety and quality standards and SOPs.
- Operate bench grinding and drilling machines to remove residual material to prepare the bit for sandblasting.
- Operate the sandblasting machine to sandblast bits to Works Orders finishing specifications.
- File off excess residual carbon material to prepare the bit for finishing.
- Perform manual torque test before preparing the bit for painting.
- Perform housekeeping, tools cleaning tasks and routine maintenance work as assigned.
- Assist in any other tasks assigned in the production area including helping to shrink wrap skits and boxes for shipment.
Requirements:
- Minimum Grade 12 completed
- Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs regularly as the job requires movement of materials and finished parts.
- Must be able to work safely with tools and machinery.
- Able to perform full 8 hours shift work standing.
- Some mechanical skills and past production work related experience will be advantageous.
- No dust allergy
